Pet care experience
I am a local mom of two and a passionate dog lover with a lifetime of pet ownership. My “day job” is in (human) healthcare and I walk with Rover on the side as a way to get to spend more time in the company of animals. I know how scary it can be to entrust your beloved pet with someone else, and my promise to you is to love on and care for your furry family member as if they were my own. I am experienced in medication administration, including injections. Excited to provide love and care for your fur babies!

My previous dog was a smart and agile escape artist. It is second nature for me to double or triple check all walking equipment and hold the leash in a way that will not allow for even a surprise bolt to phase me.

I am interested in your pets likes and dislikes. When we go on a walk do they prefer to cover as much ground as possible or are they more of the stop and sniff type? Do they like to sniff and make friends with other dogs we meet or should I steer clear of others? I have dealt with reactive and anxious dogs before, and the best way to guarantee a positive experience for everyone is complete transparency.

Every pet, and every family, is different. Please let me know what kind of activities your dog enjoys and your expectations of me as a caregiver. I strive to try and keep your animal’s regular schedule and do what they’re used to to minimize stress.

My work schedule is irregular and often evenings and weekends, which makes me perfect for giving pets mid day attention and exercise for those with more traditional schedules.
