Pet care experience
Huge dog lover of all breeds and sizes, though grew up with large, exercise-heavy dogs such as Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Vizslas. I know how to handle bigger, stronger dogs especially when out on a leash and around smaller children. I'm an active runner and jump at the opportunity of taking dogs with me! I just came back to La Jolla after a 4 month trip abroad and currently have an incredibly flexible schedule, plus a car that can fit a Mastiff if need-be! I know the area very well including all big dog parks if that's what your dog enjoys most! I have dog sat frequently throughout the past decade and can provide references as well. The only thing I know I may be guilty of is giving one too many treats because let's face it, puppy eye syndrome is a real thing :) Looking forward to connecting!

Michelle is absolutely fantastic. I have an aregentine dogo- she literally trained my dog over a period of two weeks to be great with dogs- took her on walks- fed her- and loved her - and she was terrific with my other puppy as well. Michelle is so patient- and loves animals. Especially dogs!
Michelle always does a great job with my doggy Mr. Woofington. He’s always so excited to see her. He jumps up and down, and even pees a little when she sees him, which Mr. Woofington never does for anyone. She’s great at listening, she genuinely cares about your pet, and your pet will care about her even more. I highly recommend Michelle’s services to anyone in need of a responsible and loving dog caregiver.
Michelle did a great job watching my dog, Griffin! Got plenty of pics of him out and about. He was a happy and tired dog when I picked him up.
Michelle is literally one of the only people I trust my baby, Gypsy, with. Not only is she responsible and experienced with dogs, she absolutely loves them. It feels great knowing that she’ll be there to take care of my pug just like I would, in any situation, under any circumstance. I can not recommend Michelle enough, and I’m not the only one who feels that way; Gypsy, without fail, excitement pees every single time she gets a play date with Michelle.

No breed preferences but dogs that can run for longer distances are always fun to take out. Information I would like to know about a dog is if they have any previous history of abuse, biting other dogs / children, allergies, fears (i.e. of swimming), or special things they enjoy!
A typical day
I live in Windansea so walks will likely mostly be in this area, though I have a car so we can go to local parks + dog beaches too. Activities include walks, runs, fetch, hikes, swims, and a lotta love and treats!
