I've been enamored with animals since I was very little. I've had four dogs and three cats of my own, and have watched pets professionally for three decades. I've cared for birds, cats, dogs and chickens. I am comfortable administering oral and transdermal meds to pets, and and have experience working with deaf dogs and with pets recovering from surgeries.

I have a fenced-in yard and on nice days, I provide open access to it via a screened-in porch with a magnetic screen door. Visiting four-legged friends love the freedom to come and go as they wish while remaining safe and secure. I am also a foster mom for friendly dogs, so many days are like full-on puppy parties at my house. We do have an in-ground swimming pool and a 4-ft chain link fence, so it's not an ideal yard for fence climbers, high jumpers or dogs who are not waterwise.

A typical day
I believe in the power of a good walk and can walk multiple dogs at a time if they are all willing walkers. I also find that a game of fetch afterwards can be great for burning off any extra steam my most energetic four-legged friends might have.
