Hello! I'm a lifelong dog lover and joined Rover because I enjoy getting outside and spending time with animals. I grew up in Central MA with large German Shepherds, indoor and outdoor cats, and a very playful parakeet. I regularly played with all of my neighbors' dogs as well. I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs (and cats) and provide a safe and fun atmosphere while caring for them. For the past decade, I have occasionally taken care of friends' dogs, cats, fish, and even bunnies! I have also been a trustworthy caretaker of human children of various ages and people's houses. One day, I'll have a couple dogs of my own - but for now I enjoy taking my friend's puppy on hikes and to play at local dog parks. I look forward to taking care of your dogs as well! I've found over the years that my training in behavioral therapy for humans applies pretty well to pets. I'm comfortable upholding whatever behavioral management strategies you use or working on training goals with your pets. I am also happy to keep your place clean and your plants appropriately watered while you're away (my own apartment is a small jungle). I am responsible, communicative, adherent to your instructions, and attentive to your pet's needs. I should also mention that I'll be energetic and affectionate with your dog(s) and treat them like my own. For dogs who are shy or anxious, I work to create a safe and predictable environment at home or wherever we go. I am happy to walk, play, or run with your dog(s) and bring them to parks to socialize. Finally, I am a safe driver of a well-maintained Toyota Prius. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your furry friend!
