I'm in my 50's and have cared for cats and dogs since I was a kid. For the last 6 years I have fostered both dogs and cats for rescue groups. Through this experience I have learned about dog behavior and how to help stressed dogs coming from bad situations become happy and healthy. My cats and dog are my family, and I'm happy to open my home to yours.

We had a wonderful experience with Michelle and felt very comfortable leaving Ragnar with her for a long weekend after our initial meet and greet. She is kind and seems very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors. Ragnar had a great time and was fortunately tuckered out when we picked him up!
Great environment very knowledgeable on dogs and behaviors. I would recommend to anyone looking for dog sitting we will use her again.
Michelle took great care of Ace, our 1 year old golden retriever. She even bathed him and groomed him before we picked him up. She also picked up on a ear infection he had that we missed. Ace is missing her and her pets and has been moping around all day after we brought him home.

I have a house with a large living area, screened porch and fenced backyard. My house is a pet friendly environment with plenty of space for large dogs. My dog Minnie is a 70 pound hound mix. She is a very social dog who has been a buddy for my foster dogs in the past. She adapts to dogs of any size, to play, or just lay around. I take responsibity for the safety and well being of my pets. The same is true for other's pets in my care.

I can accommodate small or large dogs. If you have any particular needs or concerns, we can schedule a meet and greet so your dog can meet mine and we can all be comfortable on drop off day.
A typical day
I have lots of toys for different kinds of dogs for indoor play or out in the yard. I wash dog toys and bedding between clients. My neighborhood is quiet, without much traffic, nice for long walks. Abess dog park is close by and has spacious play areas for small and large dogs.

I am a professional and work full time from home, so I am home all day during the week. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can accomodate day or vacation boarding.
