Please note I am currently only accepting repeat clients Follow my adventures on Instagram @sitandstaywithshelly I have been a pet lover my whole life and once I got my first dog 12 years ago I fell head over heels in love. I'm always the girl cuddling the dog at the party instead of partying. Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable is my first priority. I love taking walks with the pups, I try to walk 5km a day. I live in an apartment in a house so there is a fenced yard for bathroom breaks and playtime. Our dogs generally stay in the house upstairs so they can be kept separate from yours if needed. All my dogs have gone through standard obedience training that I can apply to my time with your pet. I'm also happy to apply whatever rules you have at home. Although I don't mind cuddles and kisses from the pups either! I have lots of patience and I especially love senior puppies. I treat every pet like family and I would be happy to extend my family!

RoXy has been visiting Michelle’s for about 6 weeks now on a more regular basis… she is absolutely in love with the entire family!!! She gets super excited in the car on the way… and falls a sleep 5 minutes into the drive home!!! Michelle is accommodating, kind, responsive and has the best heart!!! I'd like to know if there is any history of aggression. If they can pull someone down if they go into prey mode/very excited, etc. Allergies, medications, phobias. I love hearing stories about them so I get to know their behavior and habits (good and bad!) I would love to have a meet and greet before booking at a nearby park, if you are local. We can also do a video chat if you're out of town. Our dogs can get to know each other ahead of the stay so we can see how they interact. I want you to be comfortable about the experience before we even start the stay. I prefer all dogs over 1 year to be neutered/spayed but each dog is different so I will consider every one!
A typical day
We could go for walks around the neighborhood, the dog park or for a stroll by the lake! Lots of cuddles and quality puppy massage! I always snap pictures so you know what your pet is up to. I'm happy to facilitate Zoom calls for the especially home sick (I've been there!). I will make song parodies with your dogs name in it for no extra charge (If you do this too, I know you what I mean!).

I am currently working full time so I am only taking repeat clients and getting an assist from my parents when I am out of the house. Unfortunately I am not able to take as many dogs as I would like.
