Hi, So nice to meet you! My family and I are dog-lovers, and I grew up with 3 dogs: a Lhasa Apso, a Maltese, and a Yorkshire Terrier + Pomeranian mix! 🏡 Location & Environment: Nestled in Palo Alto, my husband and I reside in a newly built and sunny townhouse with a small fenced backyard. Our place is located near Stanford and walking distance to several parks. All dogs are welcome on all furniture and beds! 🐾 Your Dog’s Experience: I work from home so I’ll be able to provide 24/7 company. We love creating a positive, happy, and safe space for the dogs. Stays with us include lots of 1:1 attention, many potty breaks, long walks around the neighborhood, and plenty of cozy spots for peaceful napping. 🙂 About Us: My husband and I have been pet sitting dogs for 7 years: 4 years in the SF Bay Area on Rover and 3 years in Miami on other apps. We’ve looked after 70+ dogs, from puppies to seniors, and across a wide array of breeds. I work from home in the tech industry with a flexible schedule, and my husband works nearby at Stanford. Extra Details: 💬 Communication: We provide comprehensive updates with Instagram-worthy photos and videos throughout the stay. We know folks want to feel secure knowing their fur babies are safe and happy! We usually send 1-5 updates per day, depending on your preferences. 🐶 1-2 Dogs at a Time: Due to limited space in our townhouse and a desire to give the dogs an amazing experience, we usually only take 1 small dog at a time, with exceptions for 2 dogs if we get requests from regulars and everyone is OK with it. However, we can limit to 1 dog per day if your dog needs to be alone (past examples: rescues, puppy still getting shots, or dogs that simply don’t interact well with other dogs) - just ask! ⚠️ Safety: We’ve taken extra precautions to prevent any accidents or escapes. We have a private fenced back yard, and our neighborhood has an additional layer of fencing surrounding the entire premises. We have a Ring doorbell and outdoor security cameras. Indoors, we have safety dog gates at our townhouse’s exit doors. We also have an Apple AirTag that we can clip to your dog’s collar! 🧼 Cleaning & Sanitizing: We do our best to provide a clean environment and prevent the spread of germs from dog to dog. We wash our dog beds and all toys in between in each dog, vacuum daily, and sanitize the hard floors. We use fragrance-free and pet-friendly cleaners like Tide Free and Clear Hygienic Clean detergent and Clorox Anywhere Daily Disinfectant.
