We LOVE dogs. ❤️ They bring such sweet joy and presence into our lives. We make each dog we watch the center of our universe for the entire dog sit. The health and comfort of your pup will be our goal while they are with us, with Michelle being the primary caregiver. We are retired, so our focus will be on your sweet pet. They will literally be the center of our universe. Just us and your puppy hanging out with exercise attuned to their needs, with lots of fresh air and loving life will be the order of the day. Safety Our house and mellow safe neighborhood is doggie friendly. Our big grassy back yard is fully fenced and chemical free. Your pup will have full yard access and be encouraged to spend as much time outdoors as they want. While we will adhere to conditions that you decide work best for your pup, we do not visit areas that have loose dogs. We will have them on a leash when they are not inside our house or fenced yard. 🌻♥️ We have raised puppies and pampered senior dogs. Our last two pups, Sophie and Lily, needed special attention due health issues for many years. We didn’t travel much because they were most comfortable in their own home. We know what it is like to have trusted, respectful, dependable folks watch over our beloved family members, our dogs. We have been there. We know the importance of schedules and routines and will honor you and your pup’s lifestyle. 💕 About Us We live Patagonia-style: Layered good looks and eagerness to be out in the world, especially our beloved Oregon. I am recently retired from the Ashland Food Co-op and Alan is a retired dentist who does the occasional gig of selling plants at the farmer’s markets. 💕 We are young at heart and light-hearted. Trustworthy, loyal, helpful and kind and all the rest of the boy scout code (in Michelle’s case, that would be the bluebird code). 🌻 We like to seek sunshine, picnics, bird-watching, read, laugh and watch a little TV. We love to bake, cook and eat healthy, wholesome organic food. We like visiting with our family, friends and neighbors. We walk, hike, or exercise at the gym daily. We have picnic regalia in the car at all times and can stop for picnic or cup of tea in a heartbeat. I tell Alan we are Ma and Pa Kettle, incarnate. We are pretty simple folk! We actually do plan for a picnic every single day. Ha. It just might be in our yard. We wake every morning excited to have coffee talk together, to reaffirm our commitment and intention to tune into Joy. To live a day of adventure, flexibility, and simplicity with energy. To allow the universe to surprise and delight us. To live in the moment and enjoy every moment. ❤️
