There’s more to your dog than fulfilling their physical exercise with walks. It’s also fun to play games one on one with your dog, it strengthens listening skills and builds trust between the both of you. After all, dogs are Man’s Best Friend! And I consider myself lucky to build these connections with any dog from small to big. Play time is the best time, and all of a dogs good behaviors should be reinforced. I worked as an ABA therapist and I’ve learned that the behavioral therapy I’ve practiced closely reflects how to teach a dog new tricks and manage their behaviors as well. Punishments are never physical, rather I focus on teaching a new behavior to replace the misbehavior.
