I've experienced love and fun with any kind of dog from a senior chihuahua from a Great Dane puppy, and am always up for a walk and having a high-energy day with any dog. I grew up with two feathery family members, a 3 year old tabby cat named Astrid, and three dogs - a lovely terrier 10-year old mix named Ziggy, a 4 year old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix puppy named Lilly, and a 5 year old Shih Tzu named Polly. I am also a godmother (dogmother!) to 5 year-old pitty/boxer mix Zelda, 7 year-old lab/pit mix Ajax, 9-month old hound mix Appa, and 2 year-old Old English Sheepdog Bruce (who is in my profile picture)!. I've volunteered and worked at local animal shelters in my hometown. (Particularly, the cats love me there, but I have a deep and special place in my heart for dogs.) I'm very diligent about how they and other dogs I have taken care of interact with other dogs, children, and (interestingly enough) all of the flying, zooming, and loud objects nearby. I get along with every animal I meet!
