Pet care experience
Cats I’ve taken care of cats since I was 8 years old. I love playing with them and giving them their space when needed. I am respectful of their needs and never seek to overwhelm them. I’ve also cat sit for neighbors when they go out of town and made sure their cats had food, fresh water, clean litter boxes and some play time if they were feeling sociable. I’ve also handled special needs cats. My current cat is allergic to most airborne triggers and requires medication. My cat will always be kept separate from your cat, and I will follow any special instructions needed. Dogs I am a dog lover, but never a dog owner. I spend much time looking at dog parks all over the city and just enjoying the scene. I have cared for my boss’ French bulldog, taking her on walks and cleaning up after her. I would love the opportunity to take your dog on walks!

When boarding, your cat will be in its own room with plenty of windows for light and people/bird-gazing. There will be plenty of soft and cozy things for comfort along with the necessary litter box and food/water care. The closet door will remain shut and there will be no risk of your cat hiding away under a bed or behind a couch somewhere — as these furniture pieces are not in the room.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or personality quirks. For walks, I’d love to know if your dog is comfortable around other dogs or anything in particular makes them skittish.
A typical day
I love providing an outlet for dogs to get their energy out. We’ll take a nice walk in the neighborhood and can even go to Prospect Park to play games or people watch. My building also has a small dog run on the roof we can use if that’s okay with the pet owner.

Availability
I work a remote 9-5 job and have flexibility to step away for a walk or boarding responsibilities when needed. My weekends are fairly flexible and normally involve doing things in the neighborhood or going to a park. I’m happy to accomodate plans and the work should the need arise.
