Pet care experience
I have 2 of my own dogs, along with 3 other dogs that are in my care for the time being. My first dog is Goliath who is a 4 year old, male, Pit Bull, and the most loving thing you have ever met. My second dog is Grace, who is a 3 year old, Lab-Hound-Pit mix with more energy than the energizer bunny. Then I am taking care of my boyfriend's sister's dogs, a 9 year old German Shepherd, 8 year old Miniature Pinsher, and a 8 year old West Highland Terrier. The two little dogs have to be kept separate from the big dogs and every dog has to be fed separately, so there is a very strict routine that I follow to ensure all are safe. I have taken all dogs on walks, individually and two at a time. I am also in the middle of school for my B.S., then it's off to Veterinary school. I love all dogs and believe they deserve the best of chances and the best life they can get. I take precautions where needed to ensure the dog's safety and the safety of others around as well.

Any medical needs, no matter how small or "gross" it may be. As well as any commands that need to be known or any sounds, or such, that can set off the dog into a specific type of behavior. An absolute MUST know is how friendly the dog is to other animals, people, and children, so as to plan accordingly.
A typical day
The walks will vary depending on the area that surrounds, but they will consist of a long enough distance to give plenty of exercise time appropriate to each dog individually. The dog determines the activities. If it means ball time for an hour, or a rotating choice of toy, then that's what it'll be. If the dog just needs attention and cuddle time, then that's what it'll be, no matter the size. It may even be just as simple as a car ride to get out and about.
