Pet care experience
I am an active dog-lover who would love the opportunity to take care of your best friend. I have owned dogs my entire life and recently said goodbye to my beloved Hurley in June of 2019. I took a break to grieve and am now back and excited to share my home with your pets once again! I work from home, meaning your dog will get plenty of attention and can be let out for frequent breaks in our fenced backyard. I will update you with fun stories, pictures, and videos so that you never doubt that your baby is having a blast! I have been caring for pets for more than 15 years, with 7 years of professional experience. Whether it’s dog boarding, walking, or drop-in visits that you’re seeking, it’s my goal that you feel safe and comfortable. Rest assured that your fur baby will get care as if they were my own. I only take one dog at a time, so your pup will get 100% of my attention.
Reviews
Michelle was wonderful watching Chiquita. Chiquita is a senior dog and needs a little extra help and Michelle and Chad were great.
Fantastic!!! Will use them again if they will have our dog over again!
Michele was an excellent sitter. She kept us updated on how things were going and sent pictures and text messages. We were gone for 2 weeks and I was worried about leaving Duncan with someone for that long because we had never been apart from him for more than a week before. Michele eased my concerns and did a fantastic job with Duncan. I would definitely use her again.
Michele was amazing!! So professional and I was confident Bear had a great stay! Michele was also very accommodating and timely for each appointment!

Please read the below information - I am hoping that it will help you make decisions upfront as to whether my home is the right match for your furry friend. - I work from home. This means that I am usually present with your dog for most of the day! I am sometimes gone for 1-3 hours at a time. During that time, your dog will need to be out in the house or crated. - I understand that some dogs chew - unfortunately, I cannot accept highly destructive dogs into my home. If you've got a good awareness of the things your dog chews (shoes, soft toys) etc, I am happy to plan around that. However, if your dog tends to chew furniture, electronics, carpet, or other hard to protect items, this wouldn't be the best fit. - I accept both crated and uncrated dogs. If your dog is crated and has a tendency to "bust out" of his crate, please do not bring a mesh/canvas crate that they can easily chew or claw out of. I require durable crates to ensure that your dog is safe and comfortable while in my home. If the crate it too large for your car, please let me know. I am able to pick up the crate and/or dog with advance planning. I also have a large crate that is cleaned between uses for families that would prefer not to transport their own. - How does your dog do around cats and other dogs? My dog is an older, lazy guy who is comfortable around other dogs. I do have 2 cats. I am able to separate them from dogs during boarding, but it's helpful to know what to expect from your dog if possible. - how is your dog around children? I have a toddler. As I have an older dog myself, I am extremely careful to ensure she doesn’t climb on him or make him uncomfortable. I keep dogs separated from my child during feeding with a gate and I never leave my child unattended in the same room as any dog, even my own. I take every precaution to protect your pet and my daughter. With that being said, a dog with any aggression or anxiety around small children would likely not be a great fit in our home. - If staying in my home, I require that your dog has an active rabies vaccination. Please bring proof vaccination (tag or paperwork) at the time of the meet & greet. Thank you! - For boarding: please note that my nightly fee covers a 24-hour time span. If your pick-up time on the last day pushes beyond this, I may charge an additional fee. I will let you know about this fee prior to any booking so that there are no surprise charges. For example, if you drop your dog off on 7am on a Friday for 2-night stay, the typical fee would cover until 7am on Sunday. If you are not able to pick your dog up until 7pm on Sunday, I would charge an additional $10 as a half-day extension. Please let me know if you have any questions about this policy. I am understanding of travel delays when possible, just keep me informed. Thank you!
A typical day
We are a family that's able to relax and snuggle older dogs or take more energetic pups on adventures! For those high energy dogs, we can hike red rocks, walk at Wash Park, or horse around in the fenced backyard. I can even take a dog on a run if you want me to.
