Great with dogs big and small!

Pet care experience

I have had dogs in my home since I was a child and am an avid animal lover. I have been dog-sitting for my friends and family for the past 13 years. I previously worked for an organization that provided Animal-Assisted Therapy, where I worked with therapy dogs and puppies in training. I've also volunteered with local rescues, which has been a tremendously rewarding experience. I have looked after dogs of every size and breed (I do not have any preferences and am open to all breeds). I love them all! Whether your dog is young and high-energy, or a senior dog, I will make sure they have an amazing stay. I treat every dog that enters my home like family. I care immensely about the safety and well-being of your dog. I live by the golden rule of, "Treat others the way you want to be treated," and this extends to animals as well. I care for every dog the way I would want my own dog to be cared for by someone else.

Michelle is the best Rover sitter we've ever used. We feel so lucky that Kibu is so happy and healthy everytime we return from long or short trips and we never have to worry knowing that she's in great hands!

Zuma had a good time and was well taken care of. Michele sent us regular updates with pictures and was easy to communicate with.

Information Michele P. would like to know about your pet

If there is anything that might trigger your dog. Is there anything the dog is scared of or does not like, such as other dogs? Before your stay, or during drop-off, I will usually ask thorough questions about your dog to provide the best stay, such as any health issues, special feeding needs, veterinary info, and more.

A typical day

I love outdoor activities and spend most of my free time at parks, on hikes, or exploring new areas. I live close to many dog parks, such as the Westminster Dog Park, and would love to take your dog if they are comfortable in that environment. There are endless amounts of trails and walking paths surrounding my home.
