Pet care experience
Hi! My first gift as a baby was a white german shepherd named Pepper that I grew up with and I've been a dog owner ever since. Friends even brought me a stray found on campus at GWU, Wiggles. He was our house mascot. And I've owned and cared for dogs ever since. I started rescuing dogs in 2010 in Oakland. I found forever homes for 13 dogs. Your dog will be safe, made comfortable and well cared for by me. I'm happy to care for senior dogs or puppies and anyone in between. I am attentive. Responsive to them and focused to obey your instructions concerning your fur baby. I want them to be happy while you're away and I want you to be comfortable while they're in my care. Most of all, if anything happens, I know how to respond quickly. My 12yo Weimaraner Gideon passed away during the pandemic. I've been fostering. This just seems like another way for me to play with and care for a new dog until I get another one. I look forward to meeting you and your pet.

Michele was great watching Bryson. It’s hard finding people who truly care about your pet when you are gone but she treated Bryson as if he was one of her own. I definitely recommend booking with her.
Michele was amazing with my dog who struggles with severe separation anxiety and is reactive towards other dogs. She made him feel safe and gave him lots of love! I appreciated the quick responses and daily pictures! Will definitely be using her again in the future
Michele is a true pet lover with a loving heart and home. She did respite for our dog, Sosa and he fell in love with her. Sosa can be a little aggressive with strangers, but he quickly warmed up to Michele and could feel that she was genuine and a kind soul. Michele has proven to be a true "Dog Wisper" and has never seen a pet she did not love. :) Michele's services are an asset to the Rover family and pet community--at large. I highly recommend Michele as a loving pet caregiver.
I can't say enough good things about Michele! First of all, she fostered a rescue puppy that I went on to adopt. He was loved and well cared for from the beginning. You should see the love and happiness when puppy and foster mama are reunited! Since then, she's gone on to petsit him when we were out of town. Michele had no problem with our "real food only" approach to feeding our dog. And she helped us to potty train him while we were away. I wouldn't hesitate to use her services. She is truly a dog lover!

In addition, I can take them to a local dog park after rush hour so they can play with just me or with your permission, they can play with other dogs. They can also come with me in the car to run errands and we can have fun on the way - pup cups, impromptu walks and other fun.
