Pet care experience
Hi I’m Michele, and I would love to care for your pets ( aka family members)! I am 32 years old and going to school to be a nurse. I love animals, and have cared for all kinds! Everything from a tortoise to a horse. I have spent my entire life around all types of dogs, as well as owned my own animals. At 18 I housesat for my teacher from HS and watched his two young boys and farm with dogs, horses, cats, and chickens for two weeks. In my 20’s I was a live in dog nanny, and one of the dogs had diabetes so I had lots of practice administering medication in the form of a daily shot. I tend to have a very flexible schedule during the summer because I am only a student from fall to spring. I would love the opportunity to meet and see if it’s the right fit for all of us!

Michelle was absolutely amazing! I have three cats and a dog and she took such wonderful, loving care of them. One of my cats became very ill while I was away and she sacrificed a huge part of her Sunday taking him to the emergency vet (and waiting there a while for him to be seen) and then went above and beyond to check on him more often that was needed once she had him back home to make sure he was ok until I returned - she administered medicine to him as well. The care and love she showed my animals was outstanding and she was consistent, timely, friendly. I'd recommend her to anyone and will be using her again when I go out of town.
She is by far our favorite so far while using rover. She’s always on time and let’s us know everything about our pup. Our dog always gets super excited to go for a walk with Michelle. It is the highlight of his afternoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better person.
She is such a responsible dog walker and care taker of my pup! She’s always aware of my dogs signs of hungry, tired, happy! Thank you!!

I am currently living in an apartment so I am probably not the best fit for in home care. However if it’s an emergency I’m sure we could work something out. I do have a dog park nearby and live with my boyfriend who is an animal lover as well!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on hikes, as long as they can handle the terrain and a closer proximity to other dogs and people. I also love taking dogs to the dog park, or any new adventure we can find ourselves on! I listen to the owners requests on where to take each dog if they have a preference. I love suggestions!

Availability
I am currently enrolled in pre nursing at Lake Wa tech, and it is mostly online. I also would like to say that during the summer my availability will be a lot higher, as I am nearing the end of spring quarter and it tends to be a little more hectic for me. Thank you for your understanding!
