Pet care experience
I have had 1 or 2 dogs my entire life. I currently have 1 rescue that I got from Rough Start Rescue over a year ago named Sisyphus. Previous dogs included an Australian Shepherd named Odin, a white chocolate lab named Bianca, and a Golden Retriever/Great Dane mix named King.

I boarded my 5 month old puppy with Michael while I was out of town for a week and she had a blast! He took great care of her and sent me a picture or video every day. She loved playing with his dog and he gave her opportunities to socialize with some neighbor dogs as well, which was perfect for a puppy her age. He'll be my go-to whenever I need a dog sitter from now on!
Micheal was in constant communication with me, very responsive always. India had such a fun time ?? plus he always was sending me videos and pictures of her which helped me miss her less and feel like she was also having a good time while I was on vacation ✈️? We definitely will be repeat clients of Michael
Michael did a wonderful job caring for rownan. His dog was a great playmate for rownan and they had lots of fun play dates with other wonderful dogs in the neighborhood. I got an update on how Rownan was doing everyday and Michael was super responsive. He was very patient with all my dietary instructions and took great care to make sure Ro got the necessary supplements he needed to remedy his seasonal allergies. I would definitely recommend utilizing this sitter! He’s a wonderful person and truly loves every dog he cares for.
For as long as I’ve known Michael, his pups have come first and have been adored, happy, and well cared for. He loves a hike, walk, or adventure and his pup always gets to enjoy them right by his side. He’s also been a fantastic sitter for my own dog when we’ve needed one - Hank loves him (and his dog, too!). Michael is incredibly patient and kind with animals, and great with my big rowdy boy. He’s one of two humans in the world I’d let care for my own pets, and can’t recommend him enough for anyone else’s!

I have a fenced back yard, but it is not really used for animal care. Any sitting will be indoors minus walks and potty breaks. I believe animals do their best when they can engage with humans and it makes me sad to see dogs alone outside. My dog Sisyphus is an energetic pup who loves to play for long periods of time. All walks will be in tandem with my dog and would likely be along the river trail or in the neighborhood. During warmer months we may take trips to local trails if prudent.

I am a disabled veteran who is looking largely for nearby dogs to walk while I am out walking my dog Sisyphus, and thus have quite a bit of free time. She will be engaged in any and all dog care I take on.
