Their New Best Friend
Pet care experience
Like most pet parents I grew up with dogs. Mine where big 60+ pound dogs until I moved out on my own down to Houston. When I got down here I quickly adopted a little Chi-weenie boy. A short year later I adopted another, a little Chi-weenie girl! After almost five years with both we have been through so much. Max coming from a terrible foster care system has fought allergies, yeast infections, gum disease, and cataracts though is happier than ever at almost 10! Lily was originally named Lindsey Lohan, because she was a crazy red haired dog... with Lily we have worked through being trained in Spanish, pout pooping and nail clipping. I'm very versed in positive reinforcement dog potty training and dietary restrictions. Just like dogs I love long walks, fetch, tug of war and I need to be needed. I would love nothing more than to help a member of your family in any time of need.
Reviews
I have no hesitation recommending Micheal. His interactions were always professional and friendly. We received regular updates while we were away; came home to two very happy, well cared for dogs, a spotless house and sorted mail. We will certainly use Micheal again in the future.
My name is Ray and as a long time friend of Micheal, I know first hand that he is a warm, kindhearted and responsible person. Last year, I unexpectedly lost my home in a bad break up and all I had left were my clothes, my old Harry Potter books and my big eared Australian terrier, Gizmo. With the move being so abrupt, I wasn't financially prepared and had very few renting options, let alone enough for a pet deposit. So, I was faced with the option of finding a home, at the cost of losing/giving up my beloved Gizmo. Fortunately, Michael was kind enough (without hesitation or even me asking) to take care of lil Gizmo until I could afford to come up with the pet deposit. With me getting back on my own after 6 year relationship, it took me a bit longer than I expected to afford the deposit and other fees. But Micheal, not only didn't mind, but was happy to take care of Gizmo for as long as I needed. I'm happy to say that I now share my new home with my sweet Gizmo, thanks to Micheal! I couldn't have done it without him. He truly is a great friend and even better person!
All I can say is that my dog, Sawyer, and I wish we still lived near Micheal so he could kee doing the great work he did for us (I'm now on the west coast and he is in Texas :( ). I travel for work and Micheal would frequently house sit for me with Sawyer. I knew he was doing a great job because I would come home to a healthy and happy pup who would always affectionately greet Micheal and sadly watch out of our window when he left. Let's be honest, we trust the people our dogs trust. Micheal would take Sawyer on walks several times a day and always took caution with ensuring he was safe. Micheal also sent me photos of how Sawyer was doing and they always looked like they were having a great time. We miss Micheal, I'm sure you will love him and his compassion for people and animals, alike.
