Pet care experience
I’ve had multiple types of animals from the moment I was born, and been a die hard animal lover ever since. I am a certified veterinary assistant and I currently work at a pet resort, so I’m experienced and knowledgeable in how to take care of all your pets needs! I currently have two cats, a 14 year old female who’s my cranky old lady and a 3 year old male who’s super rambunctious! I also have two German shepherds, so I can very easily handle large breed dogs. I can gladly walk, care for, and play with all your fur babies! Every animal I come across gets the same love and attention I’d give my own babies. Being in the veterinary medicine field I have plenty of hands on experience when it comes to caring for and handling all types of animals and all their specials needs. I am able to give oral and injectable medications no problem, follow any specific diet regimes, as well as handle any food aggressive dog with ease.

My shepherds are indoor/outdoor, they are crate trained, house broken, and get lots of play time and exercise in the form of walks and outside games of fetch. My cats are indoor only, litterbox trained, and get lots of love and playtime. All the animals also get spoiled with treats and tons of attention! I’d treat your animals the same I would my own, make sure they’re happy and healthy and taken care of. Being trained in the veterinary medicine field, I can also safely take care of any special medical needs or restrictions your fur babies may have as well.

I am more than happy to do a meet up before the booking to meet with you and your pet to go over everything in depth beforehand. I just have a few key questions to get a better feel for how to best care for your fur baby and they are as follows: 1. Is your dog house trained? 2. Is your dog socialized (do they have experience playing well with other dogs?) 3. Are your dogs allowed on beds or furniture? 4. Does your dog have a history of aggressive behavior? 5. Does your dog need daily exercise? 6. Does your dog have any behaviors that I need to be aware of? 7. Does your dog have any medications or specific diet regimes I need to follow?
A typical day
I like to ensure every dog in my care is being mentally and physically stimulated when they are getting exercise, I find they tend to enjoy it more. With my dogs I like to play games with them such as hiding treats and making them work to go run and sniff them out. With the dogs at work I always enjoy figuring out which dogs will pair well together and then getting them to play outside. Weather it be a big group of dogs chasing the ball or just a big group of excited dogs playing they always have a good time.

Availability
I do work at a pet resort currently, but my schedule is still pretty flexible. That being said, I prefer to take dog clients that are okay being alone for 4-8 hours as my work schedule will usually have me gone anywhere 4-8 hours at a time. I do not drive currently but still easily get around and always arrive anywhere I need to be promptly and on time. If you live outside of my service radius I reserve the right to charge an extra fee (up to $50) for transportation to your home. Thank you for your understanding!
