From butt wiggles to excited hops to wagging tails that have the power behind them to take someone out at the knees, your dog has so many ways of showing you it’s excitement, now let me show you mine! (Although i will have significantly fewer butt wiggles). Dogs really are mans best friend, but you know that already; you're the one with the dog. After having a dog of my own for several years, she passed away unexpectedly and since then I have been looking for some furry friends to pass my abundance of love on to. While my life and home are not conducive to hosting pets at present, I am more than happy to come to you which allows your pet to feel comfortable and in control of their environment! I so look forward to meeting you (and especially your dog!)

I have a large, entirely fenced backyard for your dog to come and run free in, if they are itching to get out of a small apartment/townhouse, but maybe aren’t the best at the dog park… (Covid dogs… I see you and I understand). If your dog does come to visit, unfortunately they won’t be able to come inside the house due to the aforementioned 3 cats that live here. They do not play well with others…

Age, breed and temperament would be helpful to know in advance, as well as any 'rules' or routines you may have for your dog so I am able to respect you and your lifestyle and keep your pupper comfortable!
A typical day
Energetic and adventurous dogs are more than willing to join me on runs or car rides; quiet, docile dogs can enjoy walks around the neighbourhood or perhaps some trails; friendly, social dogs will enjoy the dog park almost as much as I do, and after they are all tuckered out, some treats, belly rubs and cuddles are good for everyone.

Availability
I work roughly 30 hrs a week, and never past 530pm leaving plenty of time for me to make sure your pets are well looked after while you’re away. For longer stays, or more time-intensive animals (ex. needs a pee break every 2 hours), my partner is also available to help out! This is obviously dependent on your comfort level and can be discussed in a meet and greet. My goal is to cause the least amount of disruption to your fur babies existing routines, and to keep them feeling safe until you’ve returned!
