Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Michala! I have no current pets in my home! My sweet baby Dale passed this past December. Ive been missing him extra lately and I’m looking to spoil and love on someone else’s special pet(s)! I currently posses coverage through PCI Insurance for pet sitting. I require all pet parents to sign a dog walking/sitting contract about their pets and their legal responsibilities as a pet owner. I prefer, if possible, to set up a meet and greet with pets that will be staying in my home to make sure it’s the perfect fit. I grew up on a farm in central Kentucky where I learned the ins and outs of animal care. On our farm we raised cattle, horses, chickens and had many dogs and cats along the way. I have experience with various breeds and sizes of dogs and experience with different temperaments.

Michala is a sweetheart and our girls loved hanging out with her. She walked them several times a day and made them feel very welcomed in her home.
Michala is the best animal lover I have ever met in my life. Sometimes I think she values animal lives more than human lives! She loves animals wholeheartedly and will love them and care for them like they are her own child. She loves to go on walks and to play with animals. She loves the spunkiness of them and how caring animals are to their humans. I would trust Michala with any animal I would have and when she returned them to me, they would tell me just how happy they were with Michala!
I was very happy to find Michala, she is a true dog lover and takes amazing care of my dog. My dog is slightly difficult to handle but, I have no worries with Michala. Anna wags her tail and goes with her no problem. Michala will text over a picture and cares for each of them the way I would. I never worry about Anna when Michala is around. Thank you so much for giving me "Peace of Mind" while I'm working.

I live with my fiancé, who is also a pet lover, and his kids occasionally have sleep overs at our home, please let me know if your pet is not friendly with children.

I want to take the absolute best care of your pet! I would like to know if pets need any special attention, if they are animal or people/kid aggressive, any allergies. I would also like to know their schedules for potty breaks, meal times and bedtimes. I allow pets on my bed/furniture (laundered after every stay), please let me know if you prefer differently for your pet.
A typical day
I live in downtown Bardstown, there are so many areas here to explore! We can go for walks and stop by the park to play along the way! I’d love to take your pet to local parks such as Nazareth, JC park, Bernhiem forest, Freeman Lake park or Broad Run!

Availability
I work from home Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with an hour lunch. I am available before and after work, and available to keep pets in my home while I work, I have a quiet job in retirement. I am able to walk pets before work, on lunch, after work and at bedtime.
