Hi, I'm August! I'm an insured, pet first aid and CPR certified professional pet sitter. I love animals of all types and have a strong passion for their well-being - though I have a particular passion for cats as a longtime cat mom myself. I have over 20 years experience in caring for dogs of various breeds and temperaments, cats, birds, fish, and leopard geckos. I also have some limited experience caring for rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, snakes, and even tarantulas. I've been a pet owner for most of my life, and have worked professionally in pet care for over a year. I take pet care very seriously, and providing a stress-free, professional experience is my top priority. Let me know what you need and I will do my best to accommodate! When I house sit, I will typically stay at your home from about 8PM to 8AM, and leave for up to 4 hours at a time throughout the day to check on other clients, run personal errands, etc. However, if your pet cannot be left alone for that long, I also offer constant care starting at $20/hr. Please let me know if constant care is a need at the time of booking! Please note that if you live outside of my typical 5-mile service radius, there will be an additional $1 fee for each mile that I must travel for each service (ie $5 for 5 miles).
