Hello! My name is Michaela. I am a 22-year-old graduate student at Portland State University and I have been an animal lover since birth. I got my first dog, Brandy, at the age of 6 and have had a dog and/or cat ever since. My husband and I currently have a very friendly 8-year-old Australian Shepherd named Reese and she is certainly the Princess of the house, as all dogs should be! She is great around other dogs and would love to become friends with yours if you would like. I have a varying work schedule so I am available to walk/watch your dog throughout the day. I joined Rover because our dream is to have as many animals as possible, unfortunately, it is only realistic for us to have one dog right now. Rover makes it possible for us to make friends with animals without the commitment of adding another dog to our family.

Michaela and Matthew are terrific! They took wonderful care of our 8 year old Great Pyrenees for one week with twice per day walks! We loved the pictures and walk cards filled with daily updates. We highly recommend this couple - they will pamper your pet and treat them like their own!

Michaela was amazing for the 4 days that she pretty much adopted my puppy. I had to catch a plane, very short notice and didn’t have anyone to watch her and at 6am on a Friday within 3 minutes of contacting Michaela, I had an address to drop off my puppy! Michaela even bought more food for Coco because it ran out during the stay. Anyways I could not have asked for a better person for my dog to stay with while away, I will be contacting her again for future visits without a doubt. Highly recommended! I was even sent cute pictures of my puppy during my entire trip and videos of her going on walks and to the park and they even let her cuddle in their own bed! I’m just so happy to have met Michaela and her SO, they are good people and I don’t know what I would have done without them!
