I’m the friend who goes to your house/party/restaurant/bar/park and just plays with the dogs! I’ve taken care of family dogs since I was a child and have volunteered at Rescue Centres and shelters in Ireland and the US so have loved and cared for almost every type of dog! I’m a dog mom to my boy Buster who loves other dogs, is very chill and quite submissive, but also loves to play so tends to get on super well with everyone :) We would love to mind your pups anytime!

Since I’ve been friends with Micaela, dogs have always been part of her personality and lifestyle. Micaela and her family have rescued and fostered many dogs and showered them with love, protection and brought fun and confidence back into their lives. Micaela’s new best boy Buster who her and her fiancé rescued a few years ago is the most caring boy and he loves them dearly. He has probably seen more corners of the world than I have! Micaela does not only ADORE dogs but all animals and is a big believer in animals being treated with the respect and being raised in the environment they were intended to. I recently got my own little girl Judy and she has been a handful at times I will always turn to Micaela for advice on how to train and understand my mischievous little girl. She has minded Judy on many occasions when we have been in holidays, and as hard as it is to leave your dog I never had any doubts that she is in the best hands. She would always send videos and pictures to keep our minds at ease, take her for her regular walks and give her a few extra treats for being a good girl even when she’s not so good! Micaela would make the best dog sitter and she will be guaranteed a 5 star review from every dog she minds. I believe that Hooch, Poppy, Alfie,Marco and Jessie (to name a few) have had the best lives a dog could dream of having.

I’m always happy to adhere to your dog’s normal schedule to make sure they feel secure happy and comfortable. If your dog requires medication or a special diet we have experience here with our own boy so are more than comfortable with that too! Our own dog Buster adores having doggy friends to stay and has hosted many before :) we are always extremely careful and believe it is not safe to ever leave 2 dogs alone when they are new to each other. As such we always have someone home and Buster would sleep separately so that we never put Buster or your dog in a situation that could endanger either of them.

I’m more than happy to accept dogs with special needs, be they elderly or very young puppies. Please let me know in advance what their requirements are so I can ensure I can provide them. Unfortunately I cannot accept un-neutered males due to fear of aggression towards my neutered male dog. While I would never leave a dog unattended with Buster, for his sake all dogs that come to the house must be dog-friendly!
A typical day
I work from home with my dog Buster and we typically spend our days with a long walk in the park in the morning or over lunchtime, some play breaks in the garden and a lot of chilling in between (for buster). I use hide and seek treat games and in the summer, frozen treats for mental stimulation. I’m also happy to practice trick training with your dogs as I have a tonne of experience with this!

I work from home with my dog Buster so have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! We have the golden ticket in Amsterdam - a secure back garden so your dogs will always have access to toilet breaks and play time! Being on the ground floor, we are a great fit for elderly dogs and those who struggle with stairs. If your dog likes walking, we are super close to 2 big parks and walk there everyday :)
