I’ve always been a huge lover of animals ever since I was little. I have nearly a year of Veterinary experience working as an assistant and am currently attending college to further my education in veterinary medicine. Over the years I’ve assisted with my moms petsitting business, volunteered and fostered with my local shelter and taken animal care classes in high school.

Michaela did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs and bearded dragon during our spring break trip. Her communication was fantastic and she left the house in great order. Highly recommend and hope to book her for our next trip!

Michaela was outstanding with our senior pup, Franke. She spent a long weekend with him making sure he was eating and getting all of his eye drops and medication. She sent pictures and stayed in touch with us throughout the weekend and left our home spotless when she left. We would love to have her back!
Michaela was very good with Tyson, and Tyson adapted to her very well considering that he had never been left with anyone other than family. Michaela was very good about keeping us updated about him and what he was doing while we were gone!

I have experience in administrating oral and injectable medications and also caring for pets with mobility issues and behavioral issues as well

A typical day
I would love to know all the things your pet loves before they’re in my care so I can make the visit as enlightening and as comfortable as possible for them. I enjoy doing enrichment activities and sniff walks with my dogs to make sure they’re being mentally stimulated enough as well as hikes and playing ball to get their energy out.

I recently just moved to Harrisonburg and am currently working a part time job throughout school, my shifts currently range between 4-6 hours on the weekends. My schedule is very flexible for the most part, I am currently in school full time and have classes Mon-Thurs. but have many breaks between classes
