From Nanny to Pet Sitter
Pet care experience
I love dogs and have looked after dogs of friends and loved ones throughout my life and presently. Taking them on walks, bathing, feeding and generally creating a comfortable, loving space. I know what it takes to keep these beautiful beings happy, healthy and safe. I have also been a nanny for 5 years, so i'm well versed in the world of caring for others pride and joy and caring for others in general. I have a lot of free time, nannying only part time for 2 afternoons a week until the end of March. Beyond March I will be focusing more on my business and study, meaning that I have plenty of free time to spend caring for others pets. I love to be in nature, so the opportunity to have a lovely companion who is just has happy to be in nature as I is perfect. Any work that I do from March will be from home, making my only unavailability on Monday evenings when I am at university. I have a big victorian house with a lovely fenced back garden, so there's plenty of space for your little ones to play and relax, in a safe, secure environment. There is no opportunity for your little one to escape, I even have a porch door before my front door. I have a bath, for those who are looking for someone to bath their pets and have a bed for them to sleep and relax.

Lyra stayed with Michaela for a few days - it was her first time staying away from home so we weren't sure how she'd deal with it but she clearly absolutely loved being with Michaela. We left her there for a day earlier in the week and when she came back the second time it was obvious how excited she was! We also got daily updates of her adventures with pictures during her stay which was great. Would definitely recommend!

Bandit had a great time with Michaela, he even did a little dance on the doorstep when he worked out who he was visiting. Michaela took great care of him, and judging by the updates / pictures he had no trouble making himself at home. It's obvious how much Michaela cares about dogs and how good she is with them. I'll gladly book Bandit in with her again, and I know he will approve of that arrangement too.
Michaela was a very attentive minder, kept me updated throughout the day, and George came back home his usual happy self!

Ahead of time, it would be helpful to know of any special needs or unusual habits your dog may have. Especially if your dog has a habit of chewing things, so that I can make sure my environment is prepared.
A typical day
I have plenty of space in the garden for playing games, depending on the size of the dog there is enough space of games with a ball. I also have lots of of green spaces near by, forests, parks, so there are plenty opportunities for bigger dogs to play with a ball. So many of these green spaces, so close to home means that the dogs I watch have plenty or new spaces to explore.
