I've fostered rats, cats, and kittens. I grew up with dachshunds, boxers, and mutts of all shapes and sizes. My elderly cat Elli passed in 2021, but thanks to her I have become adept at giving subq fluids and tube feedings. I have 3 cats of my own, and had guineapigs as well up until recently. I started doing Rover on top of my hospital job and donating plasma to raise money for a former foster kitten Navy Bean's cleft palate surgery and follow up care. He is now fully recovered from surgery and doing amazing with his forever family. I continue with Rover because I enjoy caring for animals and helping people, and this allows me to do both.
