Pet care experience
Thank you for considering me as your pet sitter! I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and once I moved away from home, I missed having a pet at home more than anything. I started fostering kittens, but I quickly fell victim to a foster fail after growing attached to all of my fosters. I decided to adopt my own lil orange kitty named Gus. I consider my pets family members and do anything I can to ensure they have a comfortable and fulfilling life. My experience with different breeds and sizes of dogs and new skills particular to cats set me apart from other sitters. With my deep-rooted love for animals, I can assure you that I will give your pets outstanding care, and they will be in trustworthy hands :)

Michaela was amazing with Sora. She gave me lots of pictures, treats and playing with the kitty. She also did more things than my original ask. I would book her again if I had to get another cat sitter.
Michaela was so friendly and very accommodating with my last minute request to walk my puppy after I injured my foot, despite it raining a lot today! Kolsch came back so happy :)
It’s the second time Michaela looks after my cat and once again she did an amazing job. She’s very punctual and communicates clearly. She’s a great sitter and i would recommend her anytime!

A typical day
I love going for a nice walk along the canal, or try out different routes around the area. I have so much fun playing fetch with energetic dogs or just hanging out together depending on their energy levels! I always try to find ways to stimulate them mentally too.

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Experimental Psychology at uOttawa, and my research affords me a high degree of flexibility in my daily schedule. I'm either close by on campus, or working from home in Centretown! Feel free to get in touch, and we can coordinate a schedule that suits both of our needs!
