Pet care experience
I started pet sitting around my neighborhood when I was 13 years old, and almost ten years later, I still love it! I’ve cared for big dogs, small dogs, cats, and even a bearded dragon. Growing up, I had a German Shepherd and a Pit Bull mix, as well as three cats, so I have personal experience caring for these animals as well. I’m not certified, but I have done unofficial simple training with dogs (things like sit, down, drop, etc.) and have administered oral medication.

Michaela is a fantastic and loving person! She grew up around dogs and her own dog as well. She not only is great with the dogs and shows them affection and love, but is a great communicator with people as well. Michaela is someone that will enjoy playing with your dog and make them smile!
Michaela is an incredibly responsible and caring person when it comes to pets. She recently looked after my dachshund while I was out of town for a few days and needless to say he didn’t want her to leave! She sent me pictures and updates frequently and was very good with him. Michaela has great experience with pets and is very professional. Highly recommend!

Fortunately, I have a car, so if you live far from a dog park, I don’t mind taking your pet for a joy ride somewhere in DC! Also very open to walking to a nearby park if your pet already has a favorite. My partner is also a big dog guy, so he won’t be stingy with the affection if that is something you’re comfortable with. Little side note: I am fully COVID vaccinated
