I’ve taken care of many different breeds and sizes from a very young age. I’m not shy at all when it comes to pups and their many different personalities. I provide a very loving and nurturing environment. Whether your dog is active or more laid back I’ll provide the care that they deserve.

Michaela watched our dogs and cats a couple of times. We love using her as she was very attentive and knowledgeable. She sent daily photos which made being away from home easier knowing everyone was okay! She even made sure to put Some music on for our dogs to sooth them. Such sweet caring touches. Michaela cares for my animals while I'm away. I have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and a bunny and I never worry about them while out of town knowing she is caring for them. She does not hesitate to call if she has a question, and texts updates everyday letting me know how they are doing. Michaela has special connection with animals. She has a calm nature and is very patient. She is an experienced owner of dogs (multiple breeds and sizes), cats, horses, goats, chickens and other farm animals. She is responsible and mature and is respectful of our home and property. She knows that our pets are a part of the family and takes this seriously in caring for our animals -not only making sure they are fed and watered but she also provides the needed play and companionship while we’re away.

When it comes to caring for your pet, I always appreciate having a brief conversation beforehand to get an idea of what your typical schedule is like at home. It's my duty to make sure your pet is as happy and as anxiety free as possible. I'm always happy to go over your expectations and execute them to the best of my ability. I've been around dogs my entire life so crate training, leash walking and special care is something I'm comfortable doing!

I'd appreciate knowing if your dog has any special needs/care instructions before meeting. I've truly never encountered a dog I don't feel comfortable with, BUT it's important for your pets safety and mine to know of anything pertinent regarding their behaviors/personalities beforehand. Thank you!
A typical day
Depending on your pets needs, I'd love to include lots of exercise as well as mental stimulation. Growing up, we had 7 dogs, and nothing tired them out more than having to use their brain! Having a senior dog myself, I know he enjoys going on short walks (and pretending to be spry still lol) and then finishing the evening with a cuddle on the couch. From walks, to playing fetch or just a good belly rub- I'll be more than happy to tire your pup out!

Availability
I work in the service industry so my schedule is pretty flexible! I typically work Tues-Fri from 11-4, which gives me plenty of time in the mornings and evenings for your pets needs! Being that I have a senior dog and two cats at home, I understand the anxieties of leaving your beloved fur baby at home for hours wondering when their next potty break will be or if their feeding schedule will be on time. I'd love to help alleviate that stress!
