Pet care experience
Looking after pets has always been something that I have loved and thrived at doing. Family, friends and others have often asked me to walk, feed, and provide care for their pets as and when they’ve needed. I am comfortable with looking after any breed and get excited to meet new dogs. I think it is always good to meet your pet and yourself first to make sure they can get to know me in a comfortable setting. Once assured, I would simply treat them as my own, providing lots of playtime, good walks and some much needed downtime full of scratches and cuddles.

Michael is a natural when it comes to dogs. They must sense that he’s a great runner and lover of the outdoors. Michael has looked after our family Welsh springer spaniels, who absolutely adored him.
Dogs are the best judge of characters and I would certainly say Mike has earn’t my dogs trust. He’s the most reliable, caring and truly genuine person I know, my Ruby absolutely adores Mike and certainly doesn’t look back when I leave her with him! I couldn’t recommend this guy more!

Whilst looking after your pet I focus on keeping them entertained and busy, this varies depending on the dog, but often involves a mixture of stimulating walks where they can find new scents, a good game of fetch or playtime with their favourite toy, and practising commands that they have either learnt or are learning. Unless said otherwise, I will tend to keep your dog on their lead, especially during early interactions and will accommodate any special circumstances that either your pet or yourself have where I can.

Availability
I am currently a mature student studying dentistry at University of Birmingham. My schedule tends to be half a day on clinic and half a day of independent study. This means that I am usually available around lunchtime to get out for a walk, in addition to having either the whole morning or afternoon free to look after your pups. My evenings are usually pretty flexible too, and I am more than happy to utilise these for extra pup care if needed.
