Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover and pet parent since I was 10 years old. We grew up with a lab, and my family has constantly rescued animals off of the street. On holidays we've picked up dogs and sought out the owners that lost them. We've been active in working with shelters, rescues, and organizations that help people with service animals. I have two big dogs (that are basically like my children with fur). I've lived with them in Vermont going to law school the last 3 years, and have recently moved back to Long Island. I am also a big animal welfare advocate, having lobbyed for animal protection laws at state legislatures before. While in law school I was the co-chair of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. We essentially worked to bring awareness to animal cruelty issues. We worked with rescues on adoption events and used the legal channels to advance positive change in animal welfare. I'm currently studying for the bar exam and am looking to help take care of pups for some extra cash while I study. It will be a great break for me, and for your fur baby. I've had the pleasure to know Michael while he was in law school, both as a classmate as well as when I worked at the school in an administrative capacity. Michael is wonderful human being, and he is passionate about helping and working with animals. I know Michael especially loves dogs, but he also assisted me when I had an issue with stray cats. We rescued 9 (yes, 9!!!) stray kittens and cats from our backyard, and Michael graciously offered his assistance and that of the Vermont Law School's Animal Law Society to find homes for them. He was instrumental in helping find foster homes for the kittens and cats and they all found loving forever homes because of his help. I wholeheartedly give Michael my support and endorsement as a responsible and loving animal caregiver, and I know he will take good care of your dog!
Michael is amazing! He not only is a profound animal lover, he also is extremely knowledgeable of animal health and proper pet care. If you want someone that will treat your furry loved ones as if they were his own family, Michael is the guy for you! I have witnessed the way he cares for his own two dogs, and believe me, he treats them as if they were his own flesh and blood. Trust me, he makes for a wonderful, responsible, animal caregiver. He truly has a passion for animals. I always have and always will trust him with my fur-children. I most definitely recommend Michael's services.
We couldn't be more pleased with Michael. This our first time using Rover and our first time having someone other than family come into our home when we're not there. We felt comfortable with Michael from the moment we met him. And so did our dog Casey. She liked him right away. Michael came to the house 3 times a day while we were away. He was always on time. We loved getting the pictures he sent by text. We really loved Casey's report card on the counter when we got home. We gave this person, we didn't know before, access to our home and depended on him to take care of our baby. He didn't disappoint us and we're already scheduling our next vacation.

We can try and find anyplace green in Albany! If you want me to just play with them in your yard, I can do that too. Each dog is different, so I will adjust to what you want. I just love all animals and will make sure they are safe and happy.
