Pet care experience
Even before my family got our first rescue, Sasha (black lab) when I was 8, I’ve always been taking care of pets. Whether it was house sitting for neighbors, friends and family. Or starting a neighborhood walking and grooming business for a dollar (at the time a dollar was a big deal when you were 8) all pets have always held a special place in my heart for the past 17 years. I became well known within my neighborhood as the ‘Dog-boy’. Some days I would stroll around with 10 dogs at once including Sasha. Even the most rambunctious of pets have never been a problem for me. A few years later Sasha had passed and my sister got another dog max (boxer/pit), when I was 14. I watched videos and learned to train him the correct way from a puppy till I moved out at 21. We were inseparable and till this day he is one of the best behaved and sweetest boy I’ve ever known. I continued walking and grooming dogs with max. And I was even able to add training into the mix. Once I moved away and my sister moved max in with her, myself and my wife got two new rescues Hiro (Korean Jindo/mix) and Koda (Anatolian Shepard/mix) after her dog Toasy (boxer) passed. It’s been a full year since we’ve settled into our new home with our babies and applying our combined years of experience together we’ve been able to train and love our pets to the fullest. Giving them the very best lives they deserve through attention, play, walks, love, pets, treats and comfort.

This is our second time leaving Muffin with Michael. She was excited to see his house. I'll definitely be booking with Michael every time I need to board her.
Scout always has a great stay with Michael. He is very excited to stay with Michael every time. Thank you!!!
Everything went well. He gave her all of her medicine. I was very pleased with Michael.
Michael is definitely a dog lover..he has 2 lovely dogs and cared for mine as he does his own. I will have no hesitation in using his services again. He is great with communication and sent me photos whilst I was away.

Each morning my wife and I take Hiro and Koda (our dogs) out for a run/walk to start their day. Since we both work remotely we are constantly surrounding them with attention, love and moments of play. While we work, they freely keep each other company. We have a fenced backyard where they are let out at least 5 times a day, or whenever they look eager to go for a run/sniff/potty break. We feed our dogs twice a day. First feeding late morning (11am/12pm) and second feeding (5pm/6pm). Throughout the day they are given a few treats or peanut butter filled Kong toys to hold them over. After work they are taken on another walk/run to release more energy. They have free room to roam the house and have access to the furniture, we do not own nor keep them in crates. On the weekends and some weekdays we will take our dogs out for car rides, hikes, park strolls, or to the dog park where they can interact and make even more friends.

With the dogs I watch we’ll take a group stroll with my dogs around the neighborhood trail twice a day. We will get to soak up some sunlight in the back yard every 2 hours for potty breaks. And then my dogs and then will get to play together and I’ll jump in too make sure everyone is well acclimated to each other.
