Pet care experience
I have had cats and dogs my entire life. My rescue dog Lucy passed away in 2022 and I have re-joined Rover because I miss having pets around. I recently moved into a single family home, so your dog will have a quiet environment while you're away. I have a lot of experience administering medication to dogs of all ages. I only take on one client at a time, but multiple dogs from the same client are fine with me! Although I work from home, I do need to leave the house at times. If your pet requires 24/7 care and cannot be left alone for several hours due to separation anxiety or destructive behavior, there is an additional fee of $100 per night. Please consider other sitters if this describes your situation. A brief meet and greet is required for all new clients.

Michael saved the day when we had to quickly find someone to board our dogs following the death of my Mother-In-Law and subsequent trip for her funeral services up North. Michael was very good at communicating during their stay, and sent us many pictures which was very comforting during a very stressful situation. Since our dogs have never been boarded before, and have rarely had both their fathers leave them, there were, as expected, some separation anxiety issues with both of them, and Michael was very patient handling that with them. He let them out to play a lot during their stay, and that gradually made them more at ease and comfortable. Thank you Michael!

Michael was great with our little dog. He has a nice house and yard for the dog to enjoy, regularly sent photos and walked him. And he seems to be a nice, caring person. We’ll look forward to using him again for dog care.
My second stay with Michael went perfectly. I’m so happy to find a caring and considerate sitter. My two frenchies were so at home with him it really helps take the guilt out of leaving them .

I have a fenced yard, but there is limited space because of the pool. The backyard area is fine for quick pee runs, especially at night or when it's raining. There's grass along the street and nearby for walks. Just let me know how often your dog likes to be walked and I will follow that schedule.
