Pet care experience
I began watching my friends' dogs for weeks at a time while they went on vacation. While caring for those beagles I was convinced I needed my own. I've been caring for my dog for the last year and others by walking, playing and taking care of their basic needs.

He's had his dog Apollo for a year now and he's really serious about making sure he's treated well (the right food, exercise, play time, etc). That extends to dogs that he doesn't own as well.
Mike is amazing with dogs! I have a dog of my own and he has always been so loving and caring towards him. When he adopted his dog, Apollo, Mike showed such responsibility and love for him and through their interactions, it is very clear that Mike does everything he can to give his dog the best life possible.

Apollo and I go on several walks throughout the day. Sometimes we take my neighbor's dogs along. There's a fenced in area for dogs nearby that I'll take them to quite often as well. I've also spent weeks living in my friends homes to watch their dogs throughout the day.

A typical day
I’m an avid runner, I’ll take them on runs if they want to! If they love fetch we’ll play the entire time I’m there! If they like to chase I’ll run with them, too. I’d they like a buddy to play with I can always bring my dog along!

Availability
I work flexible hours, often from home. If I am in lab, I often take breaks to check on my own pup if needed. My weekends and evenings are often free to watch after and help my other friends take care of their dogs. Apollo and I go to the dog park almost every day after work.
