I have since I was a child, had a special connection with animals. I often feel more comfortable around animals than people. I believe animals deserve the same comforts and love that people deserve. In my eyes dogs are family, or for that matter any pets. I am currently pet less, so I have a great need to be around animals. It brings me great joy to see animals happy. I understand the worry that comes with leaving a pet, it brings comfort knowing they are being well taken care of. I was always thinking about my dogs as I would grind out a work day, and would sneak home at lunch just to give them love. I always felt better knowing they were with someone I trusted and that they enjoyed being around. So I deeply understand the love shared between you and your beloved friend.
