PERSONAL BACKGROUND I developed a love for dogs at an early age as my parents had Irish Wolfhounds, German Shepherds, and a Great Pyranees when I was growing up. I'm very comfortable taking care of small or large dogs, as I've had extensive experience with both. My wife and I currently have a German Shepherd of our own, Nico, who has been professionally trained and gets along very well with other dogs. My wife and I are both avid dog lovers and very active people. We love to be outdoors, go on hikes, and take our dog everywhere we go. PROFESSIONAL/VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE I volunteered two years at the Humane Society caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals. I administered medications and vaccinations daily. I studied Biology for my undergraduate degree and was originally planning on attending veterniary school. I have over 20 hours of logged spay/neuter surgery assistance. I also participated in the VIDA volunteer program in Nicaragua providing free spay/neuter surgeries to dogs. WHY CHOOSE ME?
