Pet care experience
Currently accepting new clients for walks, in home visits, and home sitting. I've been on rover for 5 years, pet fostering for 10, and have had pets my entire life. I have yet to meet any dog that doesn't like me. All my regular clients will tell you how happy their pets are when I show up. I am a real dog person and care for all pets as if they were my own. I am an amateur photographer. I have a professional grade dSLR camera and will try my best to take great photos of your pet while they are in my care. If you have any special requests please contact me and I will try my best to accommodate them! I have worked with most breeds of dogs as well as many puppies. I can help work on getting rid of your dogs bad habits, such as pulling while walking, teething issues, barking, etc. I am available for most slots for walks and in home visits. I have a very flexible schedule. Currently enrolled in college but have the fall semester off. I have my studio apartment set up for maximum room for dogs to play fetch. It is dog/puppy proofed for smaller and medium sized dogs.

I can't recommend Michael highly enough. He is dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and has a great way with dogs (even my anxious 15-year-old Shiba Inu). Michael is also wonderfully communicative with humans, providing detailed descriptions and photos of his walks with my two dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to enlist his services again.
I contacted Michael last minute as we needed someone to board our pup for one night. He made himself available for a meet and greet despite the short notice. That was really appreciated. Michael asked questions to make sure he understood what our pup needed. He was well taken care of. Michael sent pictures and was very responsive to messages. Thank you Michael!

Please let me know if your dog has been boarded before. Any challenges you have faced with them, such as seperation anxiety, any medical issues, etc. Does your dog pull on the leash, do they like to try and eat things they shouldn't, do they bark a lot, do they get aggressive around children or other dogs, how do they react to wildlife, to cars passing by, etc. Does your dog stay off furniture at home, do they stay in a crate when you are gone, do they get along with other dogs and if so have they ever been boarded with other dogs. What do you feed them and when, also do you give them any treats throughout the day. What commands do they know and what commands would you like me to work with them on. Were they adopted or have you owned them since they were a puppy.
A typical day
I typically wake up early in the morning and start the day by feeding the dogs, then going for a short walk. I love to play fetch and tug of war with dogs throughout the day. I generally take 3 or 4 longer, 30 minute walks throughout the day. I live in east Dedham, it's a quiet neighborhood with not much traffic. I spend a lot of time studying and working on my computer, while keeping an eye on the dogs and giving them attention. Occasionally, depending on the dog and weather I may take a dog with me for a hike in blue hills.
