Pet care experience
I trained my 1st dog at the age of 17, she was a 5 month old Rottweiler named Lucky. She was our 1st family dog. I potty trained, taught to play fetch, walk beside me, and she only listened to my commands. My 1st cat was a 7 month short haired named Missouri. She was our 1st family cat. I taught her how to use the litter box, play with her while using her natural instincts, and where she can and cannot hop on/enter. Currently I have my own cat named Ellie. She was 3 weeks old when we got her. I gave her milk from the baby bottle until she was old enough to start eating wet/dry food. I taught her how to use the litter box and cover her poop using the litter. Also, I taught her how to speak (meow) when she’s hungry or wants something. I play with her everyday for at least 20mins. When she behaves during guest visits I give her snack after so she is aware she did great.

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
With my cat I make sure that my floor is free from debris or food. I have 3 different beds for her so she can always have one in whichever room she decides to be in. I measure her food and have a set schedule to make sure she doesn’t overeat. I play with her at least 20mins everyday or until she gets tired so she stays active and instincts are alert.
