I have been around animals all my life, and my years of experience far surpass 10, but I’ve been professionally working with dogs since 2016.

Mike was fantastic and took great care of Hux, and the unexpected bonus with shepherd training was a nice surprise.
Michael went out of his way to make sure both my dogs felt at home. They got lots of attention and plenty of exercise. I would highly recommend him!
Ive seen Mike train herding dogs for over 2 years now. In those years he has handled hundreds of different types of dogs. He has a great understanding on dogs and how to handle them with a strong love for animals and is a great fit for this position!

We have 10 acres, fully fenced, down a long driveway. Dogs have their own room in our sun porch. Multiple big paddocks to run and play in.

I prefer "intelligent" breeds that will socialize well with Border Collies, Kelpies, Aussies, Shepherds. etc. Other breeds are fine, but their experience is unlikely to be as fulfilling as other herding breeds.
A typical day
I am a full time sheep farmer and sheepdog trainer. Meaning I am home all day, working my dogs, and able to do group outings every 3-4 hours. I do offer herding lessons and obedience training!

I am on the farm with dogs all day, schedule is pretty flexible unless I have plans for the day, in which case I’m not usually gone more than 6 hours.
