I have been walking dogs since I was a kid, family and Neighbors dogs. Most of my friends have had dogs growing up, some aunts and a grandmas have had cats. I love all animals even those that come running at me. My favorite experience: I was driving to a house in the middle of nowhere for an old job, had my lab mutt in my backseat, and went to go to the door realizing a couple of dogs were growling and barking at me as they slowly approached. I realized running away or trying to approach them were both bad ideas so I just stayed put and tried to sweet talk the dogs. Both of them, German Shepard and other shepard, not interested in what I was doing continued to approach. I figured I'd just get back in my car when all of a sudden I heard my dog, Ruby, starting to bark in random sequences with some growling as well. Next thing I know the German shepard backed off and just sat there, the other dog came up to me and started licking me. Dogs just need the right type of communications and they will always open up with the biggest hearts.
