My name is Michael O., I’m 18 years old and I am an AVS (animal veterinary science) major at the University of Rhode Island. I’ve owned a few different pets in the past 12 years, including my 12 year old pit bull mix at home. I have experience working in the back of a kennel, caring for about 40 puppies at once, and my patience is very built up. I am a huge dog lover, and I also hope to forge some great relationships with some great dog owners. I believe in positive reinforcement and love to take walks, even more so with a dog by my side. I have walked my friends dogs, and they find that I have a comforting patience, even for very energetic dogs.
