I have a well-trained 2-year-old 70lb Doberman/American Bulldog mix. I trained him myself and he successfully passed AKC Kennel Club Advanced classes. I have also pet-sat cats and dogs and love all their unique personalities.

Michael, you are so amazing! Thank you for taking the time and patience to check in on our little Tulip, and even despite her accident made in her kennel, you were truly kind enough to make sure she was catered towards. This was our first time using Rover and it’s been a great experience overall due to the quality care and service of those who are willing to use their passion for animals and helping others to do good. Mike house and pet sat our three fur-babies for four nights: 1 senior miniature poodle, 1 senior cat, and one young labradoodle. When he came by for the meet-and-greet, he was very attentive to how we interact with our pets and asked lots of questions about their personalities and individual quirks. Our two senior pets had multiple eye drops and an oral medication, all which Mike administered like a pro! He was very communicative and sent us updates with photos regularly. Our house was in perfect condition upon our return. We highly recommend Mike and look forward to hiring him again for our next trip!

Trust is important and I'd like to meet/walk pets before I sit them. I find this makes them less anxious which makes everyone safer. I try to keep their routines as close to normal as possible to keep them physically engaged. I like to do mini training sessions throughout the day to keep their brain engaged and to build a trusting relationship.

I do not have any experience with injection medications for animals. I offer potty breaks every hour, dogs are welcome in the backyard anytime. I do not have a litter box.
A typical day
Wade and I enjoy walking along the American River or the horse trails that are closer to home. If I'm up early enough walking Sutter Street before the shops open. We play in the fenced-in back yard Wade's favorite games are fetch and keep away.

I am currently a full-time student at Sacramento State and my schedule currently is wide open Friday-Sun. Afternoons on Tuesdays. If you want your dog to socialize with my dog, evenings every day.
