Hoi! My husband and our dog recently moved from California to Scheveningen, and I’ve been very fortunate to be able to continue working with all kinds of dogs. I’ve been on Rover now through several years and two continents! I live in a cozy fisherman’s house that can easily accommodate smaller dogs that need a sitter; but what I’m really looking for is additional clients for my daily Scheveningen walking schedule. I currently have space for at least one or two more dogs in my routine; easily able to go from one to the next while keeping it in the Scheveningse Haag area. I am available for any service, but if you are specifically looking for someone long-term and you live in the area, I would love to meet you! Groetjes, Michael

Misha is exceptionally attentive to the dog’s needs and has been very flexible. We have been very lucky connecting with him through this platform. Even though my two dogs can be a handful, Misha has gone above and beyond to watch them and give them a great time! It’s been a really positive experience overall.
Misha is incredible and reliable person. He took care of my Max for one week and every day send me pictures and updates about my cutie. Max had a great time there. This is second time he was with Misha and I can strongly recommend him as a pet sitter.
Misha was so attentive to our two dogs for three weeks! I could tell he really cared about getting to know them and their preferences. He paid attention to their needs and quirks. I felt so comfortable leaving my fur babies with him. His dog is also so sweet and friendly- he interacted well with my two. I really couldn’t say enough about him and the care he provided! I will definitely rebook with him for the future as needed. What relief to have found him since moving here earlier this year.
If I could rate Misha more than 5 stars, I would for this weekend! My pup was involved in an incident (absolutely no fault of Misha! My pup is just a ball of energy) and handled everything professionally while I was out of town. He contacted me ASAP, took her to the vet, and sent me constant updates on what was happening. This included following up with the vet (so I didn't have to since I was in Tahoe on the mountains) and dealt with all the payments. He picked her up after and spent a lot of loving time with my pup. I don't think I can find someone who loves and puts all dogs as his first priority! This is why I always use Misha when I can and can vouch that your pets are in great hands :)

I have a lovely closed-off terrace that gets plenty of sun, and both upstairs and downstairs has dog-beds and water bowls. A safety-gate is installed and always in use at the top of the stairs, and Scheveningen offers a lovely small town environment where every pet owner knows their neighbor’s dog’s name. A wonderfully safe environment inside and outside.

My dog is missing so many teeth that biting isn’t really a concern, so my only worry is that your dog will bite one of us. So please be upfront about your dog’s temperament. Even if it is just for a short check-in at your home, I prefer not to work with animals that are hostile to new people. Of course meeting the animal ahead of time with the owner present helps build familiarity, but in my experience a hostile-to-strangers pet can return to feeling threatened once you are gone, even if they’ve met me before. So please be certain you know how your adult dog behaves when you’re not around!
A typical day
I’m walking distance from the beach, so however much exercise your dog needs is covered! Aside from the outdoor opportunities right near the house, inside my home I’m a big fan of mental stimulation for my own dog. Puzzles and treats-inside-toys are my dog’s favorites, so I have plenty of those. Since my dog is older we do less physical play, so I LOVE watching dogs that love tug-of-war and fetch. Most of all, I’m about cuddling and giving affection to any animal that needs it.

Availability
Currently I have several clients Monday through Friday, all in the Scheveningen area for walks through our beautiful forests. All my current dogs are very friendly and can work with another dog added, but right now my schedule allows for everyone (including how clients) to be walked separately.
