Pet care experience
We are a dog family with a 2 year old lab that would love to play with your pup! I have owned dogs my entire life, raising and training both puppies and rescues. We recently lost our 19 year old terrier and our our lab would love to have more playmates. Mike is happy to work with dogs on basic training and leash work.

We are serious about giving your dog a safe and fun time. Our doggo wants to be every dog's best friend and will be happy to play. We have a large yard with a 120 foot run and extra tie out, if needed. Our dog is trained to not leave our yard. As an extra layer of safety, we'll put our Tractive GPS tag on our guest doggo through the duration of their stay, just in case there is an escape. The tag also tracks activity, so you can get a snapshot of the fun. Additionally, we are happy to share updates and photos throughout the duration of the stay.

Please let me know what special behaviors, if any, I should know about. Skylar will need dogs that are friendly and playful. Any details are appreciated. We would prefer to have overnight boarders first have a day-care session or two, to make sure that everything is compatable.
A typical day
Our morning routine is to get going with a nice long walk of at least 20 minutes in the neighborhood. We have a great location with quite streets, a pond to walk along, a nearby park, and lots of things to sniff. Mid-day can be full of playing in the yard and naps. The afternoon or evening always includes another walk (20 minutes minimum) and the potential for a trek someplace more adventurous- the Shadow Pines property, 1000 Acre Swamp, Irene Gossin Nature Preserve, and Whiting Road Nature Preserve, to name a few.

Availability
We have at least one adult working from home every day and have lots of hands ready to pet and snuggle your doggo. Our pup gets morning and afternoon walks (and usually some extras).
