Dog’s Best Friend!
Pet care experience
I've cared for cats and dogs my whole life; I am confident in understanding the needs of a number of different breeds, and have little difficulty in forming quick bonds with any canine/feline friend I meet! After a number of experiences caring for our very elderly Cocker Spaniel, 4 different Cocker Spaniel pups, and raising a Tabby/Maincoone kitten all in quick succession, I can confidently say I'm able to keep on my toes when it comes to both young & elderly pets in a nice household environment (i.e. heightened sense for potential carpet accidents). Since my family and friends so frequently turned to me as a trustworthy sitter for their pets over the years, I decided I want to start offering my service to the wider public 🙂 Dog Walking: I'm an active person and I enjoy having a walking companion as much as a dog does - happy to walk in any weather, rain or shine! Drop-in Visits: I live in Fishponds but I'm happy to drive within a 5-6 mile radius for drop-ins to check on your pets and provide some company while you’re out. Housesitting: Happy to provide housesitting services; from my experience this is the best option for petsitting as the pets can remain within their familiar routines and home comforts, which helps to prevent any extra stress from being apart from their owners. Doggy Day-Care & Boarding: Unfortunately I don’t really offer these services anymore because I live in a small shared house with 4 other people and a cat - this could be negotiable if your dog is exceptionally calm and well behaved, but sadly otherwise it usually proves to be more stressful than it’s worth! Of course if you have any questions about anything don't hesitate to contact me 🙂

Michael was absolutely
Michael spent the night at our home looking after our Gizmo and I truly believe Gizmo didn’t want us to return, he was so well spoiled and walked! Michael is a pleasure to deal with and Gizmo fell in love with him instantly. We will use Michael again and would highly recommend him!
We carefully chose Mike to be the first sitter with our 12 week old dachshund puppy and were delighted with his calm and thoughtful care. Evie can be a handful when she wants to be so it was very reassuring that Mike was able to keep a watchful eye on her without being restrictive, and was happy to deal with her crazy moments and toilet training mishaps with a zen-like happiness at all times! Highly recommended, and we have already booked him again for house sitting.
Michael was fantastic he did a meet and greet before I went away. He hit it off with Luna immediately and you can tell he is a real animal lover. Luna took to him straight away. Michael's visits were documented and I always got a picture of Luna usually playing with Michael. I cannot praise Michael enough and highly recommend him

Safety, trust & environment
I will always aim to stick as close to the animal’s regular routine as I can, with a healthy mixture of play, exercise and relaxing!
Information Michael M. would like to know about your pet
I usually ask all clients to write out things like your dog’s routine, and any particular requirements or quirks your pet may have, including the likes of any commands or behavioural issues which you don’t want to encourage (i.e jumping up, begging, etc)
A typical day
I find playing games which encourage mental stimulation can be a very good activity to help dogs use up some healthy energy - especially games where they have to sniff out a lost treat/toy :)
Services
Michael can watch in your home
Availability
I’ve got a fairly flexible lifestyle which can adapt to suit the routine of different dogs - all my jobs are self-employed so I get to manage all my own time
