Professional+Personalized Pet Care

Pet care experience

-Shelter Volunteer: I volunteered at the Greenville Humane Society at age 14, when it actually had a contract with Greenville Animal Care to operate the shelter. This is also when I got my first dog! My passion for animals was kindled in my this experience and this initial step instilled in me the core values of compassion and attentive pet care. -Kennel Manager as a Young Adult: Transitioning into young adulthood, I assumed the role of a kennel manager, honing my skills in overseeing pet care and daily operations. I walked dogs, supervised play groups, administered medications, and walked dogs on leashes most of the day. This hands-on experience solidified my commitment to ensuring pets' comfort and well-being. -Humane Educator as a Young Professional: As I entered my young professional phase, I furthered my contributions to animal welfare by taking on the mantle of a humane educator. In this role, competed Pet First Aid, Animal Shelter Disaster Preparedness training, and professional Humane Education Training. I actively advocated for the welfare of animals in schools and through camps to educate others about humane treatment of animals people and the environment. -Boarding Like a Friend's House: I understand that the cost of pet care can be high, especially for families with multiple dogs. That's why I've created an experience that feels like your pets are boarding at a friend's house, with ample space and amenities to ensure their comfort. -Photos 2x Daily: Enjoy regular photo updates of your pets during their stay, so you can see them and share in their experiences. -Customized Care: I understand that each pet is unique, and I tailor my care to meet their individual needs, ensuring they receive personalized attention and love.

It's really obvious that Michael loves and is great at what he does! Our anxious girl was calm and more confident than she's been in previous boarding situations. I will definitely seek out Michael for future boarding stays.

Emma has returned from another stay-over with Michael. She enjoys her visits, and Michael does too. He is such a warm and friendly person. There is never a doubt when Emma is in Michael’s care. Thank you, Michael, for your hospitality.

Michael is the perfect caretaker for Emma. He goes out of his way to make Emma feel as if she is at home with us. Michael is very attentive to Emma’s needs while in his care. He is extremely courteous to me and to Emma. Michael is the best in what a caretaker has to offer.

Wrangler very much enjoyed his stay with Michael. Michael kept our minds at ease while we were away. It takes a lot for us to leave our best bud with someone else but Michael truly made the whole process easier for us. Not to mention he was very responsive and very accommodating!

I am happy to accommodate dogs in medical recovery, are high energy, or special need. I like to know about the personality, their favorite activities, and ways you want them to be better at home if any.

A typical day

Morning Walk/Yard Time: We kick off the day with a morning walk or time in the yard to get some exercise and fresh air. It's a great way for your pet to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Breakfast: After the walk, I serve a nutritious breakfast customized to your pet's dietary requirements. If your pet has any special dietary needs or requires medication, I'll make sure those are taken care of. Playtime: I believe in the power of play, so your pet will have interactive play sessions. Depending on their socialization preferences, they might play one-on-one with me or join a supervised group. We have a variety of toys and games to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Rest and Relaxation: Your pet gets some downtime in their individual space. They have access to cozy bedding, fresh water, and if they prefer, I can play soothing background music for them. Afternoon Activities: The afternoon is filled with more playtime, socialization, and possibly some training or enrichment activities. Dogs might enjoy additional walks or playtime in the outdoor yard. Dinner: Your pet's dinner is served to refuel after an active day. I make sure to meet any dietary preferences or requirements they have. Evening Calm Down: As the day winds down, I take your pet for a peaceful evening walk, engage in a cozy cuddle session, or simply provide some downtime for them to rest. Bedtime Routine: Before bedtime, I tuck your pet in with their favorite blankets or toys, ensuring they're comfortable and secure for a good night's sleep. Throughout the day, I provide personalized attention, care, and love to your pet. I share regular updates with you, including photos and messages to keep you informed and connected with your furry family member. The daily routine is flexible and adaptable to accommodate your pet's unique needs and preferences, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable stay with me. High energy dogs, those with medical needs, puppies, all welcome.
