Pet care experience
I’ve been walking dogs for the past couple years in the Chicagoland area and have recently moved to Urbana. I wear a mask at all times and will take your dog on as long or short of a walk as you desire. I ask that you provide a harness if possible and I would meet you at the door. I have waste bags I use so those are not needed. If you would like me to train your dog while walking I ask that you provide a small batch of tiny treats to use based on the dog’s diet.

We’ve had a wonderful experience work with Michael over the last few months! He’s reliable, dependable, and communicative. Our dog, Lily, has loved every walk he’s taken her on. We asked Michael to help with her learning to walk with a leash and he did it with no problem at all. I highly recommend Michael!

If there are any concerns with your dog please let me know them as that is very helpful information. I tend to keep dogs socially distanced from other dogs and their walkers for multiple safety reasons so I rarely will encounter others along our walk.
A typical day
I like to walk the dogs where they prefer to go within reason. Your pet should be able to stop and smell as often as they like for as long as they like. I am patient as it is their time to be out and about in the neighborhood. After a few walks and light training I’m able to understand the dog’s preference for their route and routine.

Availability
As of now I’m working a job M-Thr so I will only be available to walk dogs on Fridays and Sundays. My schedule will adjust in November most likely and I plan to walk dogs every day of the week during December through February.
