Spoiling your pups silly w/love💓

Pet care experience

I’ve had dogs and cats since the age of 7. Growing up, I also helped dog/cat-sit for friends and neighbors, along with fostering puppies and prenatal bottle kittens. We LOVE puppies and have extensive experience caring for them. Animals bring me immeasurable joy and wouldn’t imagine life without them! From the second your pet enters my home, they will be treated like my own. Pet parents can expect to receive periodic pictures and video updates from the start to the end of their pet's stay. I LOVE playing with dogs. Our top priority is to make sure your adorable pet(s) deserve all the care and attention with lots of cuddles, toys, walks, and playtime. Your cuddly pets will be receiving the time, attention, belly rubs, cuddles, and care from not just me, but from both myself and my wife; DOUBLE LOVE! I also live within walking distance to multiple dog parks, where I can easily take your dogs there to help them get their exercise in, especially for those high-energy fur babies!

Michael and his wife took great care of my Aussie shepherd puppy, Harley, for the weekend. It was our first time using a dog sitter through Rover and Michael provided lots of pup updates and photos of my puppy enjoying her stay, which included cuddling, daily walks and receiving lots of loving care. I have an active dog so I was also glad that Michael also took Harley on a local trail to get some exercise and sun. Thanks again to Michael and his wife - they are amazing sitters and we look forward to a future stay!

Michael is incredible! My girl had so much fun, he kept sending videos and photos. I swear when we picked her up, she wanted to go back home with him. Michael is also super kind and was so flexible with us. 100/100, I’d recommend him and also book him again in a heartbeat.

We use Michael whenever we go to California and he is so great with our pups we wish he lived in Nevada. They are always come home happy. Michael was able to accommodate us last minute and we would never hesitate to have him watch our boys.

Safety, trust & environment

Our living space has been carefully arranged so that nothing hazardous to your pets is present or accessible. No kids or other pets to worry about in case your pet gets anxious around other animals in the same space. We have medium-sized doggy beds for your dog to snuggle into and get cozy. We also have feeding bowls, and all sorts of toys (Sanitized regularly to make your pet's stay as comfortable as possible. (If your baby doesn't mind playing with toys that are not their own. - Please let us know if your pets mind or if you'd prefer to bring any of their favorite things). We eat our meals on an elevated island countertop via barstools, so rest assured that no stray scraps will ever reach the floor where your pups can get to them. While spoiling pets silly with love and affection is my favorite thing to do (plus we LOVE sleeping on the bed and lounging on the couch with them), I also understand that pets who have different rules at home should follow the same rules when under my care if the pet parent so requests. If your dog is not allowed on the couch or bed at home, we'll set the same rules for your pet when they're staying with me. We do love sleeping on the bed and cuddling with dogs if allowed, so we would really appreciate it if your pet arrives clean after a nice refreshing bath whenever possible!!!) I am also able to do pet pick-ups and drop-offs, but only outside of "typical" working hours. (After 5:30 PM) Within a reasonable radius/distance from me, I can pick up and drop off your pet from your place for $25 each way. (Price negotiable if within 5 miles radius from the Irvine Spectrum Center) We can do one-way trips as well if this best suits your scheduling needs. Please note, due to personal reasons, I’m no longer comfortable meeting pet owners inside of my own home for visits going forward; please see my photos to get an idea of my place! [Doggy daycare hours]: Approximately 10 hours of sitting for doggy daycare. This starts from the moment they are dropped off until they are picked up. Anything in excess of 10 hours would count as doggy boarding, in which rates will increase due to the number of hours. We understand sometimes extenuating circumstances may cause delays, and will generally communicate with owners to accommodate when things are out of their control.

Information Michael L. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or things (ie: No stairs, allergic to grass, skin conditions, etc) I should be aware of; I will note them and give the proper care and treatment to your pet as if they are my own. It’s my goal to accommodate and do what’s best for your little one! - Does your pet have any known allergies? - Are there any toys your pet should avoid? (Toys too small and hazardous if swallowed, aversion to certain-sized toys, etc) - Dietary concerns: Can your pet have sweet treats? (ie: puppuccinos) - Does your pet have an aversion to toys that are bigger than them? - Is your pet afraid of loud sounds? (Do they have certain sound triggers?)

A typical day

I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood, with plenty of areas for your dog to sniff around and play. Additionally, I live next to many enclosed dog parks where I can take your dogs out to run about and have fun; especially great for high-energy dogs who need to expend their extra doggy energy. (Only with pet parent permission)
