I would not recommend Michael and would actually be scared about the safety of any pets he takes care of. I had him come to my house daily for two weeks while I was away on a trip to Germany. It should have been a redflag that he wanted me to pay him 50% of his fee outside of Rover but my sitter cancelled last minute and I only had him left so I obliged. He had very poor communication, took long to reply to texts, texted me halfway through my trip to let me know that he had not seen one of my cats for THREE days. Now he did not tell me on day one or two, he waited to tell until he had not seen her for three days. And then proceeded to tell me that she had been looking a little sick. No text before to let me know he was worried about her health. When I arrived the house smelled terrible. And Im very particular so my house never smells of cats. He had already been there that day but the litter box was very dirty, the cats waterbowl was filthy that you could run your finger at the bottom of the bowel - I have pictures (likely from not being cleaned for several days - maybe the whole time) I cleaned it all and the smell persisted. My cats have NEVER had an accident outside the litter box and I found cat pee in two closets and in one of my upholstered dining room chairs. It was a house of horrors. At every turn I would find something else to be apalled by. Im very lucky my pets were alive. Horrible horrible experience.

Michael is so fantastic. He is reliable, flexible, and continues to provide the very best care for our pup! We are so thankful to have found him on Rover! :)
